Terms of Service

Soma Monthly Membership

You understand and agree that this Agreement is a month-to-month Agreement ("monthly membership") for a minimum of 3 months and no maximum. Except as otherwise set forth in this Agreement, this Agreement will remain in force unless you cancel it as per below. You will not receive a monthly statement. Your dues, unless prepaid, must be paid through a credit or debit card stored on Union online secure software on the date designated in the Agreement and will continue on or around the same day until cancellation.

Annual Membership

You understand and agree that the term of this Agreement is for 12 (twelve) months ("prepaid membership"). In the event of cancellation due to medical reasons with a doctor’s note, a credit to your Soma account would be applied. Refunds will not be given to the method of purchase. Except as otherwise set forth in this Agreement, this Agreement will terminate at the end of the term unless you elect to renew your membership at the then current rate.

Soma Supported Membership

At Soma, we want to make yoga affordable to most people. We offer sliding scale memberships to students, veterans, teachers, or anyone who is in need of financial assistance. We want to make yoga accessible to all. This membership is suited for anyone who struggles to meet their basic needs. This membership provides unlimited in person classes. There are no other benefits to this membership. Class and Membership cancellations apply. 

Member Benefits

Soma members receive free livestream and on demand class, free mat storage, 10% off of workshops and events, 10% off retail, and one free guest pass per month. This does not apply to the Soma Supported Membership.

Right to Modify Dues and Fees

Soma Yoga reserves the right to modify your dues at any time upon 30 days written notice. If you have a prepaid membership, Soma Yoga may not modify the amount of your prepaid dues before the expiration of the current term.

Pause Policy

Does not apply to Annual Memberships

The pause policy allows a member in good standing to temporarily suspend their membership upon request to Soma Yoga at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to begin the pause under the following terms: 1) once every 12 months; 2) for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 consecutive months; 3) no pro rata months. You may only pause your membership for 1, 2, or 3 consecutive months and it must be for the full month. Once the pause ends, member rate shall continue at the same rate immediately prior to the pause, and your payments will automatically commence on the same pay date as previously scheduled. It is the member’s responsibility to keep track of membership pause end date, as billing automatically resumes. The cancellation policy (below) is still in effect.

Cancellation Policies

Classes


If you pre-register for a class you must cancel at least two hours prior to the start of class or your class will be late canceled, forfeiting the cost of the class. Members will be charged a $10 late cancellation fee. Drop ins and Class Card holders will lose their class.

Workshops


Students who cancel 48 hours in advance will receive a refund in the form of an account credit. Workshops will not be refunded if canceled within the 48 hours prior to the event. To cancel, please email hello@somayogacenter.com

Monthly  Membership


Membership cancellation requests should be emailed in writing to hello@somayogacenter.com at least 7 days prior to your next scheduled debit date. Please include your name, phone number, good times to reach you and reason for wanting to suspend or cancel. We will follow up to process your request within a few days. Once you cancel your membership, it will remain valid until your scheduled debit date. No partial refunds will be applied.
